Objects
Keep the shape.
Tell its story.
Make a model from a thoughtful series of photographs around a still subject.
Pick a friendly first subject
Start with something matte, textured and stationary. Shiny metal, glass, featureless surfaces and moving subjects are harder to reconstruct. Use even lighting and a background that stays still.
Give every side its moment
Use the app’s object capture guidance on supported devices. Circle the subject slowly and capture overlapping views at more than one height. Keep the whole subject in frame; make a separate pass for areas you could not see.
Look past the thumbnail
Rotate the model and inspect its underside, thin details and hidden surfaces. A hole is missing evidence, not a surface you should assume is correct. Repeat the capture when important areas are absent.
Choose the result you can use
Export the reviewed model and open it in the destination viewer. Support and achievable detail depend on the phone and reconstruction settings. This development build has not been qualified for every object or material.
