- Find the light. Turn on room lights. Avoid dark corners and abrupt changes in exposure.
- Clear a route. Keep the subject still and leave room to move safely.
- Start small. One room or one textured object is enough for a first pass.
- Plan to review. Turn the result around. Missing areas may need another capture.
Capturing is the beginning. Inspection is what makes the result useful.
